Objectives of the wiki:

  • Provide a medium for collaboration and exchange among team members
  • Provide a medium for review and feedback from faculty on design ideas, design process understanding (including responses to Food for Thought questions), testing procedures, and design decisions
  • Provide a medium for documentation of the project

General grading criteria:

  1. Wiki shows evidence of contributions by all team members, through the editing history available in pbwiki and/or through author identifications of specific material.
  2. Wiki content shows evidence of discussion and collaborative decisions, through responses made in the text or through the commenting function and/or through narrative description of discussions and collaborative decisions.
  3. Wiki design facilitates review of content by faculty.
  4. Wiki includes all requested content.
  5. Wiki follows appropriate lab notebook conventions to the extent that the project can be reconstructed by someone who is not a member of the team.

See the Rocket Notebook Guide and Links for additional tips on effective wikis, including advice on uploading and linking to graphics.
